20 & 21 April 2021: Basic Social Entrepreneurship Course (KAK Se) with Institut Keusahawaan Negara

On 20 & 21 April 2021, Ms Chen Chee Wei from Go Study Sdn. Bhd. has attended Basic Social Entrepreneurship Course (KAK Se).

The training was conducted by Coach Anja Juliah Abu Bakar, the founder of Athena Holdings Sdn. Bhd.. Topics covered are basic of social enterprise (SE) , social impact metrics, theory of change, the social enterprise accreditation, management and legislation of businesses, social business model canvas, finance and marketing of business, and the preparation of pitch deck.

One of the highlights of the training is the introduction of the social business model canvas (SBMC). SBMC is reinvented from the business model canvas created by Alexander Osterwalder. A SBMC provides a powerful visual tool to assist new social entrepreneurs by adding the social impacts on top of the conventional business model canvas. Ms Chen has successfully completed the 2-days training.
